Spectacle Frames
Wearing spectacle is not boring with Urban Eye Wear’s huge collection of spectacle frames in all shapes and designs! We have both plastic and metallic frames. In plastic frames, we have Acetate and Ultem-TR variants while in metallic frames we have SS and Titanium variants. For preference of rim, we have 3 types of spectacle frames:
1. Full Rim
Full-rim glasses contain lenses that are totally encased in a metal or plastic frame. Full-rim glasses are strong and will not be wrecked by a few drops and falls. They are ideal for prescription glasses with a wide range of lens powers.
2. Half Rim
Half-rim glasses feature a prominent upper metallic or plastic frame that exposes the bottom of the lenses. However, it can be vice-versa and only have the frame on the bottom part. These are multi-functionality glasses as they are appropriate for both formal and casual wear.
3. Rimless
Rimless glasses are the lightest frame design available. As a result, they are comfortable regardless of how long you wear them, but they are more prone to breakage. Because there is no frame surrounding the lenses, they provide an intrusive visual field.
